
The 26th Annual Cove Cherry Fair is an all-volunteer family-friendly day of old-fashioned fun, music, and food held at the Ascension School Grounds. Cherry Fair kicks off with at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast followed by a community parade.
Through the afternoon, enjoy Cherry Pit-Spitting, Polite Pie Eating (pinkies out), and Hands-free Pie-Eating contests for prizes, and old-fashioned games just-for-fun. Activities for kiddos include Hog Wild Train, face painting, Fire Department bubbles, and kids’ crafts.
Live local music includes a mix of Americana, folk, blues, soul, and rock. Vendors include artisans, crafters, entrepreneurs, and community goods supply plenty of handcrafted wares and wearables, as well as good food and cool refreshments for everyone. There will be Cherry Fair merchandise for sale. In the evening, the Cove Drive-In hosts a ring-toss tourney, karaoke, and live local music.
