Deep in the heart of Eastern Oregon where tall tales meet small-town charm, the Elgin Sasquatch Festival celebrates legends and community. Join us for a one-day festival filled with live music, local vendors, food, family-friendly activities, and a whole lot of Sasquatch spirit. Whether you’re a true believer or just here for the fun, this festival brings people together to celebrate folklore, creativity, and the unique character of Elgin, Oregon.

10:30AM Blue Mountain Old-Time Fiddler Association

The Blue Mountain Old Time Fiddlers Association is a nonprofit with members who play at local events and shows​.

1:00PM Sasquatch Presentation By Barbara Shupe

Barb Shupe Cascade Mountains After 40 years of living and working in a small community in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State, Barbara has come to know the local Sasquatch and has built a situation of mutual trust with them. In 2013, Barbara created the You-Tube channel, Squatchin’ with Barb & Gabby, where she shared her weekly progress with habituation. In the years since then, she has come to realize, she was the one being habituated. Barb continues to share her ongoing Sasquatch experiences, interactions and amazing camera catches, including the “Cloaker” video, featured in the hit movies, Flash of Beauty Paranormal Bigfoot and American Sasquatch: Man, Myth or Monster and in her new book, The Unseen Audience: Walking With Sasquatch. 

Barbara will have her presentation at the Elgin Eagle Cap Excursion Train depot at 1:00 p.m. located at 300 Depot St, Elgin, OR 97827.

2:00PM Colette Jones

Colette Jones is a musician, artist, and a scholar of American roots music from the Puget Sound region of Washington State. She grew up enveloped in songs and stories, and began her musical journey at a young age, teaching herself piano, determinedly Travis Picking on any available guitar, and later holding down the rhythm playing power chords in punk bands. She found her footing in the Americana genre by way of her passions for storytelling, history, and the folk music tradition. 

4:00PM Cory Peterson

Cory Peterson is an Americana/ Country artist blending heartfelt storytelling, country-influenced melodies and a raw, honest delivery. Cory draws inspiration from lived experience and classic roots music.
Cory performs solo (acoustic) and with a full band.

6:00PM The Tattered Hounds Unplugged with Nathan and Trevor

The Tattered Hounds blend blues, rock, and harmony-driven soul with grit and heart. Based in Oregon’s Blue Mountains, we bring raw energy and seasoned musicianship to every stage, from local venues to late-night studio sessions.

8:00PM Caleb Lathrop

Caleb Lathrop is an emerging Nashville based country singer songwriter, hails from a small town in Eastern Oregon called Elgin. 

Caleb will continue his performance at the Elgin Station Bar and Grill Beer Garden again at 10:00 p.m.
