Join us as we celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with a full day of community fun, patriotic pride, and small-town tradition!

🎆 MOST PATRIOTIC BUSINESS CONTEST The Elgin Chamber of Commerce invites local businesses and organizations to show off their American spirit! Decorate your storefronts, windows, buildings, and outdoor spaces in red, white, and blue for a chance to be named Elgin’s Most Patriotic Business.

🏆 Judging Criteria:

⭐ Patriotism & Theme ⭐ Creativity ⭐ Visual Impact ⭐ Community Pride

📅 Decorations must be in place by July 3rd 🎉 Winner announced on July 4th

Then continue the celebration with our community picnic!

🌭 4TH OF JULY BARBECUE & PICNIC 📍 Trailhead Park on Depot Street 🕓 July 4th | 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM

We’ll be serving: 🌭 Hot Dogs 🧁 Cupcakes 🥔 Chips 🥤 Refreshments

Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, family, and friends, and come dressed in your best patriotic attire!

🎯 Games for all ages: • Cornhole • Egg Races • Gaga Pit • Three-Legged Race • Ring Toss

🚗 Parking available across the street at the Train Depot.

Thunder at the Peak Fireworks Show in Union

Saturday, July 4, 2026 (5:00 PM – 11:00 PM) (PDT)

The Union County Chamber of Commerce is excited to continue preparations for the 2026 Thunder at the Peak July 4th Celebration at Buffalo Peak Golf Course in Union, Oregon!

Join us for an evening of community celebration, local vendors, food, family fun, and one of the region’s premier fireworks shows as we celebrate 250 years of American independence right here in Union County.
