Dusty Rust, hailing from Lewiston, ID, blends the rugged landscapes of his upbringing with the blue-collar spirit of Kansas City’s country music scene. Known for his raw authenticity, Dusty’s sound fuses country and rock with heart and grit. From 2013 to 2018, his performances at The Westport Saloon became a staple of the Kansas City music scene, captivating audiences with his magnetic stage presence.

He’s shared stages with renowned artists like Dale Watson, Whitey Morgan, Hellbound Glory, and JB Beverly, drawing fans in with his raw energy and storytelling. In 2017, Dusty earned an Ameripolitan Award nomination, solidifying his place in the country music landscape alongside legends like Hank III and Scott H. Biram.

In 2023, Dusty and his band performed at the Jackalope Jamboree festival in Pendleton, OR, captivating crowds with their dynamic performances. Driven by a DIY ethic, Dusty has self-produced four full-length albums and collaborated with acts like Countryside Ride and Tyler Giles, lending his distinctive sound to their projects.

Dusty is now preparing for the release of V, his fifth album, marking an evolution in his sound. The first single, Singing With A Ghost, will be released on January 24, 2025, offering a deeper look into his artistry and emotional storytelling. Dusty continues to push the boundaries of country and rock with raw, authentic music that resonates deeply with listeners.
